Speedwhore is a Death Metal Thrash band from Germany. Their new CD is "The Future is Now". So they are a heavy band with over distorted guitars. The production is pretty good considering that everything sounds kind of noisy. The greatest thing about this CD is that their songs are not that long. The reality is that nothing on this CD stands out. The guys are pretty talented and can play their instruments very well, but nothing stands out that makes the listener think. The solos are the best part that make me want to listen to how creative can they be with their style. There is actually nothing wrong with Speedwhore's sound but instead it is just too generic. There is no song that really makes me say, "Wow, that song had a good groove, it has a good hook, it makes me angry, it makes me want to mosh, it makes me feel depressed or it brings me up out of my depression. Speedwhore is kind of like Motorhead or Megadeath whereby in 10 CDs with 10 songs each totaling 100 songs each band only has 10 good songs each for ten years worth of playing. Similarly, Speedwhore is only another band that might last but they may only have one good song on their CD. A great example of this is the Black Metal Thrash band Chapel, whereby they only have one good song. Consider Chrome Division, three Cds and only three good songs, and those are on the first CD (lol).
Ok so what comprises Speedwhore. They are fast Thrash Death Metal. They play with this over dirty distorted sound. They have good solos, and really good drum beats that can compare with the best of them out there. There sound is very cliche and you heard one song, well then you heard all of their songs. Yes, I get it as a musician, every song is actually different. However, as a listener every song sort of blends in.
So far the best song is "Camp 44" this one at least caught enough of my attention to bring give them one pick in my rating. "Genetic Invasion" begins like "2 minutes to midnight" for a second and at least this has a groove for up to 45 seconds of the song, then the song is drowned out by distorted guitars and hall reverbs. Additionally, the ball grabbing screams gets tiring pretty fast. If the "Future is Now" then let me live in the past, or better yet, just let me die now with the knowledge that I have heard good music in the past because if the "Future is Now" then the Future sucks.

Really, if you want a generic Death Thrash band then get this CD maybe you can play it in the background during Halloween and scare some kids into giving you their candy. Then only reason I did not give them a two was because of the good drumming and descent soloing (for Death Thrash playing). I give you a 3 out of 5 guitar picks cause I feel for your efforts.
