The cover of the album consists of an earth consumed with a skull captivated by flames. It speaks of the end of mankind, or possibly just a world in total disarray. The colors of red and yellow surrounded by the spikes make you think of hell itself. Maybe that bad thing that brought forth said hell, is getting payback for the hell it brought about.

Track 1. The Hammers Blow- Your ears are treated to an instant rush of tasty aggression, the melodies wash over your ears thoroughly. Very tight and crisp powerful drumming. Definitely has that classic thrash feel about it. The music slings through an interesting groove, but I love how the music just opens up delivering a massively impressive performance. Over the top guitars, that deliver thrusting metal mite! Killer solo! Vocals are interesting, sounds like a group effort good enunciation, timing and melody across the spectrum, great track to open the album with.

Track 2. Nightmare- A low rumble consisting of a fair amount of hell comes forth wickedly. The guitars play a harmonic whine that just could choke babies I swear! Very powerful rhythm, fast paced aggressive, break neck speed. When you push play, the music is like an insane ride, of aggressively melodic guitars, bass, and dynamic drums. The passionate vocals tie things together nicely. Lyrical subject matter is quite interesting. The music opens up with a massively creepy theme of a nightmare gone wild, totally digging the hell out of this! The riffs twist and turn, so much your never bored, never a dull moment here, nothing is watered down. As the saying has been said before, no filler, all mother fucking KILLER! Love it when the song dies down, and EXPLODES in your face like a pissed of god. Digging those maddening METAL chugs. It makes you want to pull out your air guitar and play along note for note. Also throughout this song, there's been a very mighty bass slapping around, LOVE THAT SHIT!!! Their music twists around so perfectly in the mix, delivering a massive overload of AWESOME.

Track 3. Forsaken Existence- A very clean yet intelligent guitar riff perfectly begins this piece. The distortion pours in quite thickly. A sweet syncopation of metal fucks your ears silly, as does the massive melodic lead guitar. The song quickly snaps into a direction that is full of an overdrive that forces your into submission. The vocals carry the music quiet well. The studio mixing quality is absolutely fucking PERFECT. The crisp and heavy riffs, are the kind that stay with you, they will wonder your mind endlessly later. And they still find a way to up the level of awesome here, a mind blowing solo that just RAPES your ears. The kind of music that has you constantly headbanging and thrusting your devil's horns skywards. The riffs run a pace that is blistering yet impressive. This music is thoroughly melodic yet aggressive and quite technical.

Track 4. Leading The Blind- An awesome chugging riff begins this piece. Things get crazy and violent melodically quite quickly. Totally digging the riffs and punchy powerful drums here. Very catchy music as usual from this band. The music just slices a perfect path of metal through your mind, that you invite with a welcome of madness. Ah man, that bass guitar is thick and fucking kick ass, love how it just slithers like a snake perfectly in the mix. This music has a thoroughly dynamic quality about it, slick lyrical subject matter, excellent vocals. Another mind bending solo, that screams across the sky of your mind, delivering grand overdoses of melody. There is an immense amount of creativity and talent in this song, and thus far on this record. And the song end's oh so fucking perfectly, with the echo of that maddening lead solo! Fucking perfect shit if you ask me!

Track 5. Fire at Eden's Gate- The loud and mighty bass rules the opening here. The cymbals have a subtle crash that is fair and inviting for a clean guitar strums single yet intelligent meaningful notes. Really liking how the drums just ties the music up tightly, in a crisp formulation of music. The music stops, only to throw it's self into a jerking motion of crazed distortion. The bass is particularly slick in this mix quite nice, it's something I've noticed through this album, the bass poking out and making the groove much tighter and stronger. Another exciting and catchy track here, really like how the melodies and aggression formulate together perfectly with the vocals, the drums, guitars and bass. Sick fucking solo, the best part is the rhythm riffs that are the back drop are not overly boring, they are just as exciting, powerful and active. The music twists and turns around together perfectly like a tornado of awesome metal fury that never stops, it is unrelenting. A tight delicious melodic groove finally ends the track as it fades into is aggressive trance of melodic wonder and power.

Track 6. Into the Abyss- This band has proven themselves thus far to be a mighty powerful force to be reckoned with. This song is no different from that formula. Perfect opening. Really enjoying how the music twists and turns here. This song has a sick galloping rhythm about it, that impales your thoughts with a graphic onslaught. Really digging how the vocals reign over the song like a monster, the guitar solo enters, with a maddening passion. Enunciation is spot on, between guitars and vocals all around, but not the least bit dull, but completely with fierce melodic aggression. I like how the song throw's a change up your with, giving the syncopation a slightly different feel, a slow down, and then a massive uptick in the speed delivering a sick fucking solo! Intelligent yet well meant lyrical subject matter, really enjoyed how the vocal melodies stretched out through the track, hands down awesome shit.

Track 7. The Hour of the Time- Really liking this clean yet subtle riff that opens the song, pure melody. The lead guitar introduces a sick and maddening pulse of desperation, the rhythm section chimes in like a demon from hell. They pick their places, this music is like a well placed puzzle. Very catchy and memorable syncopated riffs. Tasty hooks that long after this music is done playing shall stay implanted within your cranium. Loving this palm mute action here. The bass slithers like a rabid beast on the hunt. The music continues on with a mighty and wholesome yet cool groove. Love the decrescendo and then the total explosion of tasty riffs. Great usage with the vocal effects, digging the extra accented melodic expression there. Another fucking killer solo! It's becoming difficult to decide which track is my favorite. Very memorable riffage here! The more you hear, the more you want! And the song slows down, and it STILL kicks major ass, with it's foreboding presence. A deep and yet wild push of flame inducing metal.

Track 8. Mortis Ex Machina- Your mind has now been taken over by and immensely dowsed into utter kick ass METAL! A very intelligent yet classically tasteful thrash that tears your ears from end to end without thought or care. The rhyme scheme within the lyrical subject matter continues to impress with this band, here within this song as well as the others that have come before. Man, those rhythm riffs are like helicopter blades, they cut, they slash, there is no forgiveness to be seen of or met. This music is just so unrelenting, it's a thorough and outright blast or awe inspiring metal. It is a taste of old thrash, but I'd say a touch of their own flavor as well. I am really hoping this band makes a presence on the East Coast of the United States, it's actually something that I don't think is far off. I'd love to go see a show live. Highly impressed, damn good song. The usual tasteful, combination of powerful overloaded guitar riffs that set you up destroy you, and own your ears, not to mention the powerful backing drums. I could go on about the positive's about this band.

Track 9. Untitled- Honestly this track is not listed, so I am not sure if it's a hidden one or what but hey, it's a bonus non the less. Thus far quite impressive as usual. Wonderful clean guitar riff opens the track nicely. A massively profound distorted lead riff get's the over reaching melody of the song going, with a sweet delay that encompasses the entire mix, in a thoroughly divine way. And then you hear the bass trickle in though in a subtle way. The drums subtly crash a single beat off, while the epic lead melody fades it's final notes away. Wow, just ... Wow. Not an official song on the track listing but still great material.

I don't get many excellent bands like this very often, though they do come around from time to time. Bands that have everything in place perfectly, there is thorough talent and massive amounts of creativity ever where your ears turn towards. Your never disappointed, your only wishing for...MORE. This is one of those bands, that has a TON of Potential. And I feel just so honored to have been able to do this review and to hear this music, absolutely loved everything about this album from start to end, it had me head banging, thrusting my devil's horns and even playing some air guitar from time to time, between typing and re listening to tracks. Yes I re listened to some, because they are that damn good. All I can say is I can't wait for this band to his the East Coast, you can bet your ass I'll be around somewhere, taking in this awesome metal. Thrash at it's Finest!
