Track 1. Meet Mr. Mossberg- You walk into a situation which describes sheer blood lust revenge, the villain is given his medicine and there's this fist thrusting hell yes moment! And immediately the music starts here, your just as excited about what just happened to the villain as you are about the music that's taking over your ear's. It's catchy and aggressive, though dark, with a delicious and fucked up sensibility! Really liking the guitar hooks, it's a very dirty yet groove oriented piece, the heavy handed bass guitar is a nice touch in the mix. Syncopation is a sweet fucking hello to hell, if I don't say so myself, it kicks an ass of the highest order. Ah hell yes, loving that randomly thrown in guitar squeal, the riffs spin and alternate nicely within this song, the drums are well timed, but with a lot of power. Vocal clarity is good, as are melody and expression there as well. Really digging the hell out of the lyrical subject matter, it's a total send of to every piece of shit in everyday life who wishes to cross the average Joe. Fuck with my family and friends, and say hello to the Mr. Mossberg, awesome yet fucking hilarious. It's just a careless yet cool send off for a total douche bag. The music itself is just a bad ass heavy rocking vein of I don't give a fuck, so this is the way it's gonna be, and the way it is, is quite fucking awesome. Great track to open things up with here. Sound quality also seemed pretty decent here, did not notice really any issues with that.

Track 2. Climbing the Mountain- From complete white static noise emerges the sound of a plane or some other flying vehicle gliding about in the sky. This sound dies quickly, it is replaced without hesitation by a thick, delicious dark bass guitar. The music grooves within fun, and crazy section's of well formulated madness. Things slow down a bit, with the power chords drawn out, though quite heavy but full of a bad ass heart. Vocal melodies twist and intertwine quite well with the guitar riffs, really digging the syncopation change, the song keeps it's fresh feel about it, in other words not the same thing over and over. A vocalist is dubbed in that you can't really make sense of, though it's still cool. A nasty guitar solo makes it's presence sweetly known, fucking nice, it tears away your soul slowly exposing you to the world. Good clean vocal clarity, as well as lyrical subject matter. The vocals are a good balance between clean and raspy. The syncopation of the music itself has taken on a hard hitting thumping grind. The music is a consistent heavy hitting thrill ride no matter which way your ears turn towards, your drawn in, torn open, and poured out on the table, and then all over again!

Track 3. Season's End- A singular guitar strum is guided in parallel by a subtle yet crisp drum beat, eventually the track grows into a maddening overlay of dirty yet slow grinding metal. The drum beat has become more eclectic and well refined here. Vocals enter the mix at the perfect time, really liking the sudden change with the vocals, absolute wonderful pure clean vocals here! The alternating vocal styles are maddeningly awesome. The music has like a cascading crunch effect, one after another, it's very dirty and in your face. The syncopation takes on a trashy sort of feel, that really fucking ROCKS! The drums are knocking it the fuck out of the park, loving the shit out of the entire track! Loving the hell out of this tasty yet mind twisting heavy grinding riffs. The lyrical story of the music itself is of a dark nature, but cool as fucking hell. That's a mighty sick fucking bass poking out of the mix there, it's a slice of confirmed hell and slick madness all rolled into one. They have a very raw, yet technical sound, it's dirty, but very well written and performed. Digging the lead guitar that slithers back into the mix, vocals continue to impress the hell out of me, with the alternation at the absolute right spots. Some of these jams are slow, though cool and dirty as hell. The music reaches an outright intense level near the end here, things get out of control and crazy, beyond awesome, but then it slows down, leaving you wishing for MORE! Cool use of the odd sound effects at the end, what the fuck is that a passing train? Not sure, though still great material!

Track 4. Manifesto- Random radio spots play here, the music stops at a moment explaining a moment in history which is known for a horrible moment. A sick fucking riff starts things, stirring up what sounds like a god damned hornets nest, if I was going to light myself on fire for fun, this is what I'd listen to while doing so. A dark brooding, yet sickening slither of soul scorching riffs. The drumming is also tight, eclectic and hard hitting as hell. They continue with the great lyrical enunciation I like that, how the words of the music just dance on top of the music just perfectly. The slow down riff with the slithering bass and lead guitar in the track just make you want to thrust your devils horns sky high! We've reached the HELL YES moment in the song I believe, loving the fuck out of this syncopating groove. The music slows down though with a thick delicious darkened groove, its a dirty well designed crunch. The music stops as if you think it's over, then it... EXPLODES in your face, only to have the vocalist roar something awesome, the final sounds of the track are glass breaking, and a last grinding note of distortion from the guitar fading.

Track 5. Crushed by the Wheel's of Progress- A massive echoing drum quickly assumes control of the track. I'd say it's a powerful intro. A fuzzy bass guitar chimes to life with a slow yet creeping line, that drags along a feedback drenched heavy guitar. Vocals burst forth with a pain soaked with a violence filled death. The syncopation takes on an intelligent, well timed delivery. It's something that's very unique, yet heavy and rocking like you would not believe. Were these riffs stolen from the devil, because they are fucking bad ass, some sick slithering shit they got here, slow, yet completely evil and thoroughly grinding, with a pure nasty soul to go along with them. Love the part where the music dies, only to awaken into a total monster of riffs soaring metal, the groove is slow but tasty and refined with an eclectic and powerful punch. Vocals are subtle, but hard hitting and just right. The music continues on with it's interesting assault upon my ears, digging the heavy palm muted riffs thrown in here, it accents the syncopation quite well. The music stops, rolls and runs into another crazy direction its, almost like a totally different song now. It takes on a darker more eclectic feel, the bass seems heavier here in the mix, quite delicious this shit is. Things slow to a crawl, the riffs become like sharp claws that cascade onto your ears like a monster. As the track draws to a close, an epic lead guitar riff, seems to introduce a maddening pace back into the song. The music becomes so fast sweet, and awesome, but then it dies PERFECTLY into a single echoing riff! Absolute fucking AWESOME madness!

Track 6. Spiral Stairs- A dark melody seems to grow from nowhere, it becomes louder, enveloping your ears. Almost like a boomerang that sweeps over your ears the bass guitar brings an extreme presence of fucked up to the floor for battle. The drums get things started slow, but they are timed well, quite eclectic. Loving this slow yet sick as hell lead guitar riff. Some mighty foreboding shit here. Though this music is drawn out and slow, it's quite powerful. The music open's up a bit, vocals enter perfectly with there roar of outright rule! Though this track is short, it still has a good sound about it. Tasty fucking bass solo! The music explodes again with a bad ass syncopation that gives your ears good measure to be frightened, but steady you are asking for MORE. The lead solo cuts into the mix just right, loving this shit thoroughly. And that nasty fucking lead guitar riff, it just opens shit up more like a semi full of worms. Outright take no prisoners, powerful music, kick your face in, knock the door down aggression. For a short track it was a damn good one.

Track 7. Before I Return to Dust- Things start slowly here, but with a dirty and dark stained working of riffs accompanied by the drums which are eclectic and hard hitting, as if to summon death itself. The track pick's up a sick aggression, a passionate slithering set of riffs. It's catchy as is everything that's come before, it's got that sound this band has pretty much established but seemingly a bit different and interesting from the tracks before. The music stops, and slings into another direction. The absolute sheer mind fuck that these riffs are can not be understated. The vocals also sound like the bringers of doom, though cool as fuck, clear and raspy when they know to be. The music slows down for a moment to develop a syncopated hard hitting drum and guitar riff combined palm muted overlay of fuck you to the listeners ears. Things finally seem to settle, and then they suddenly end, ever so perfectly in the vocalist fading, though echoing final words.

Track 8. Virginia Creeper- Echoing clean riffs create a nice intro here, the music alternates between this clean intro and a heavy guitar with drums combo, finally bringing the thick bass in. After a few measures, the music breaks wide open, via a sick fucking stand alone riff, great riff transition there. More slithering sickening riffs, they twist and wind well with the eclectic hard hitting drums. Lyrical subject matter here is a creepy and cool vibe. And the melody, oh crap the melody, it's a pure mind fuck. This music is a sheer force of its own. Vocals echo about, from one ear to the other in the mix, can't think of anything bad to say really here, other than I do wish the lead guitar would have been more pronounced in the mix in places where it was, some places it was great other places not as good as it should have been, but overall the guitar playing was fucking SUPERB! It's been an honor to review this album. Kick ass from start to end. A killer fucking album!
