Track 1. Ash and Bone- Something approaches, it has a seemingly electric beat that grows, into a massively powerful crunch of distortion. Your instantly smacked in the face, with a sheer force of SICK METAL! The melodies here twist around like a life size blender of pThe Third Ageure damnation. FUCKING LOVE IT!!! There's a complete wicked quality about these vocals as well. Very much a hell pounding beat that just is completely relentless. Loving how the groove of the song changes around so massively keeping you on the edge at every change you have to straight up. The riffs are quite rich and distinctive. Digging the hell out of the insane lead licks that sneak in here and there whining demons. The transition very well from slow to fast and back again. Very powerful. The chorus just grabs you, holding on tightly. The main song hook slings back around ready to snap your neck. A slow yet humble bass line awaits to seemingly end this profoundly awesome madness. But just when you think it's all over? Everything turns around wraps up and spits some BAD ASS metal in your face! Absolutely getting lost in these melodies. The music just intertwines together just right. Perfect studio mix!

Track 2. The Purge- And the first thought is, can they follow up that epic opening track with something as good or better? A dark and crunchy riff establishes the music in a good way here. It's obviously a mood that just tells you hey were here to take out everything, to destroy all that may be not what we want or like. Very interesting and eclectic melodies and beats. Excellent timing with the drums. The bass guitar is not to high either, very much in the pocket though at times it comes up giving the music a darker grooving sound. The song almost as feels like slow trudge of a fuck you to the face. Love that slow banging force of distortion. And do not mistake the music with being so slow that it drags, no dragging here. My attention is thoroughly nailed to the track in fact my ears are currently dripping with blood as we speak, because I am massively enjoying this track so much. Wicked, and chaotic, yet gift vocals, just absolutely something great there! Some of the best metal harmonic vocals I've ever heard. Love when that main guitar hook slides back in with that double bass kick, and then there crackling snare ends it. ME WANT MORE!!! Different, but damn it's GOOD SHIT!!!

Track 3. Our Star May Fade- The sound of something either flying high in the sky or even possibly falling seems on approach. A somewhat lighter and more endearing set of riffs hammer about. Very much a catchy syncopation. Where the fuck did these guys come from? This is the kind of music METAL needs. Digging the hell out of the riffs how they punch and throw about, chugging then melody back and forth. And then that sick fucking BASSLINE!!! HELL YES!!! A constant thundering about of massively distorted riffs. An overlay of smooth music that grinds and runs deep reaching into your deepest depths and tearing your insides out. It's interesting how the notes just wind down, and that thick bass line picks up. Only to reintroduce more sick melodies and reinvigorate the music that just expands to hit a whole other level. More perfect transition with their timing, absolutely magnificent dynamics. I think this track is like one of those old poems with a hero fighting a beast. It turns and runs into so many fantastic directions, but it all makes sense, because it all ends up in the same place. There's a complete utter magnitude of greatness within this bands sound. Dual harmonic guitars just are enough here to rip your spine out and beat you to death with it. The track finally ends on those winding harmonic riffs that just fucking kill. It's as if some machine has just left and fucked everything that's living and breathing to hell in it's own great way, all of course in a bad ass manner!

Track 4. Revere- There's a change I dig that! Some heavy but thumping drums that sound very crisp begin the track quite well, accompanied by a clean melody which seems to muster about some sweet fucking lead guitar lines. The drums re- emerge to assemble a powerful yet brief assault. Though the track is short, it's a brief taste of this bands strengths. I just wish there was more to this great instrumental, some truly wonderful material here!

Track 5. The Obelisk- Opening up the final track of the album, you step right in something dark, which happens to be loaded. Aggression, tasty melody and an outright head banging anthem loaded with riffs that could set the world on fire. The riffs make you want to pull your air guitar out and join in on the action. More changes that just sling the music around in maddening directions with fury. The vocal and guitar enunciation is just completely thorough and this vocalist is a BOSS! He's owned the shit out of this album! You begin to think maybe that things are about to die down and go away. The end is near, you can taste it, you can feel it. Even the track takes on a death like state, but these thick dark delicious riffs are not doing away without a.... FIGHT!!!

There's a last mighty charge of METAL onslaught that just winds everything together, the album comes full circle. This review, has been a FUCKING PLEASURE! Thank you for bring this WONDERFUL music to my ears. Beautiful, yet dark, destructive! If this band is not touring? They fucking need to be! Rating 10/10
