Unbreakable Hatred is a band out of Quebec, Canada, premiering with their CD Ruins. The CD was well produced, whereby you can hear the full band and the depth to the vocals and guitars in relation to the drums was amazing. You can hear this on any speaker system and you will get the feeling of their power.
They are straight out death, but really powerful, and once you hear the CD you will get the meaning of powerful. Good production can make or break a band, therefore, it is nice to see that these guys put their all into the CD and of course their playing.
The CD begins with the "Addiction" and the rhythms are nothing less than excellent. The drums compliment the guitars equally and this is clearly seen in the "Dysfunctional System". As a musician, I actually know how much effort and practice time it takes to go beat for beat and note for note (two different things) for the drums and rhythms. And it is evident that these guys are so well rehearsed and have and probably will go toe to toe with the great bands out there like Nile and Suffocation.
Their sweeps are masterfully executed throughout each song. Their rhythms are powerful, driving, and catchy for the most experienced mosh pit enthusiast. I really can't even say that this is your run of the mill death metal project. This is what a professional band sounds like even though these guys are too new to say that they have been around. It is funny because when listening to so many bands you kind of think that most of these guys are the same and Unbreakable Hatred is so unique and amazing to listen to.

The title track "Ruins" really kicked my ass just listening to it. The beginning was reminiscent of "Dechristianize" by Vital Remains. For me there is no doubt that these guys could pull off a song like that in their own style. Truly awesome, and from there the CD continues to impress and compel me to listen. Flawless sweeps, ascending and descending crescendos and blast beats that prioritize harmony as well as blending melody. When I heard the song "Unpredictable Brutality" I thought the song should be called "Unpredictable Beauty" just because of the melodic riffs. The one thing I will pick at is the cymbals are a tad low and when the drummer Dominic is hitting the crash, splash and china, it could have been more pronounced. Do not get me wrong I will actually still give them 5 but for the next CD if their sound guy could just isolate the cymbals with a gate control and make them a tad louder and more pronounced. I will admit that this is not that easy to accomplish.
The next song was "The Beginning of the End" and just when you thought these guys could not get any better or upstage themselves, they freaking did it. Their blast beats and exceptional guitar riffs leave you wanting more and more, but Unbreakable Hatred knows how to deliver music. Then at the end of this song they go into a powerful Slayer-like riff right before ending the madness, and you know that the song could not have been any better if even your other favorite band played it.
I say your "OTHER" favorite band because…Unbreakable Hatred will be your new favorite band. There are so few bands out there that will make you want to listen to their CDs from start to finish and UnBreakable Hatred makes you listen to them. When you put the CD in for the first time, I have to say that their music is so powerful that they command your CD, because you are really compelled to listen to this.
Also when you are listening to the song "Luxurious Sickness", listen carefully. Not that you should not listen to the rest of the CD carefully, but the drummer does these sickeningly awesome drum blasts triplets and snare cymbal work that you might even miss it. Again Unbreakable Hatred is a powerful band and you can't listen to this CD in the car for the listen-through. Maybe after hearing this CD for the third time and when your neck is almost ready to snap that you need a neck brace you can put it your car and go crazy. The thing is this, when you see that guy (maybe girl?) in that car, going crazy, banning their head, hitting the sun visors as cymbals and having their hand hit the outside of the car door while driving, they you know you have found a friend that is listening to one of the best new bands of 2015 UnBreakable Hatred. So here is it, I don't know what you are still doing home, but go out and buy Ruins by Unbreakable Hatred and you will not be disappointed. If not then order it online or if these powerhouse guys are playing in a city near you go and see them! Again, you will not be disappointed. I truly expect great things to come from these guys. On another note, I do not think that these guys will stay with their current label for long, cause these guys are going places if they decide to do a major tour. So I will give UnBreakable Hatred the rare 5 out of 5 guitar picks for 2015 and man they truly deserve it.
