Track 1. A Song for the Setting Sun- An organ slowly grows in the mix. A gravely tune spreads through out your mind filling it with what could be a macabre laced impression. A very sharp beat turns into a crisp snare. Echo's begin to stretch across the track. A groove thrives in a cool and entertaining manner here, it however stops, giving way to a very impressive soulful lead melody that is of delicious metal, along with digital atmospheric effects, great opening track!

Track 2. The Mists of April- Thick, enormous room filling METAL riffs overtake you very quickly. It's like an invasion of furious war mongering destruction upon your ears. The groove is tight. Quite punchy shit here. The vocals so far seem to have a very low growl, and a mid level rasping roar, liking both, there's a hell load of passion as well as conviction. The main guitar hooks intertwine masterfully within the vocal melodies. You can't really hear the words spoken, but the feelings conveyed make you want to reach towards the sky with your devil's horns with full thrusts of HELL YES. I also hear very subtle clean vocals. I like how they don't overpower the track but lay smoothly within the mix. The mini solo dive's in cutting quite well, stopping the music for an instant just for the main hook to wrap around to the beginning and all you can do is squeeze your fists in total excitement, excellent mixture of powerful elements here. The piano is a touch of fucking genius at the end!

Track 3. Sapphire Eyes- A very interesting digital melody comes together quickly, a second one brings with it a heavy beat that fuses the song together like forged thunder. You are instantly dipped into thick distorted metal, along with a digital melody which lays in the backing track of the music. The darker growl's have an impressive presence here, you can actually make out the lyrics which is also pretty damn awesome, digging the hell out of these vocals. Ton's of passion and talent here. The melodies fuse together like dynamite ready to explode. There is a subtle fuzz with the distortion, but the music is so cool and captivating that it's really not an issue. Digging the aggression, wished the sound quality was a little bit clearer, but enjoying the album thus far.

Track 4. Acrasia- An alternating digital melody spins around your head and explodes into a massive overlay of metal. The digital melodies take on impressions of a sickening quality. The syncopation is an eclectic and intelligent one. Enjoying the aggression, but more so the alternating of the rhythm of the music, and the more melodic parts. At parts it means to invoke questions and sanity within your mind, in other parts it just fucking explodes complete awesome fury in your face. Digging the hell out of those dark crisp riffs, they march on without question with the command of a god.

Track 5. Sonnet of the Revenant- A clean and interesting melody strums single plucking fingers opening up the music to something much more darker. The bass plucks a few solemn notes, which gives way to a rich distortion carrying with it the powerful hard hitting drums. Enjoying the syncopation here and how it flows with the vocals, quite rich in melody here, especially with how the rhythm and lead guitars match quite well here. The song drives like a pissed off mad man ready to take on anything. The music ends suddenly, leaving me wanting a bit more.

Track 6. Fracture- Palm muted riffs begin this invasion of metal instantly here. They don't wait long at all to introduce the aggression or the melody. The music open's up to something quite powerful and ruthless of the highest order of METAL. The chug's scream of a sickening slice of passion that just drives deep within your own soul, claiming something within you that is part animal. The digital backing track melodies add a suspenseful and even horrific element to the music. An impending doom seems not far away with this well crafted track of invading dark wonder. And just like that the music calms down perfectly, bringing in the wonderful piano, but just long enough to go NUTS again. The song ends up twisting it's way back to the original palm muted metal riffs coming full circle. I can say one thing about this band, they keep things interesting, and are VERY creative.

Track 7. Relinquish- Digital melodies and a heavy bass guitar begin this battle of never giving up. An explosion of instant distorted madness quickly gives way to a clean set of vocals, accompanied by a crisp simple drum beat. They changes things up, and make them MORE interesting than ever. A different set of vocals, invade the track, delivering a taste of AWESOME, with the rhythm hooks. PERFECT vocal harmonies, parts evil and pure all around. The music is tasty, accurate, right on with every beat. The listener becomes instantly addicted to the music as it plays on. The music has a sweet addictive quality to it, you keep wanting to listen. They get better and better with each track, and thus more thoroughly creative. Good shit here!

Track 8. Under Moss- A very light digital melody is like a rush of thunder. It however quickly turns into an alternating force of METAL. A heavy thumping beat with distortion. The low roars get my instant approval as do the wonderful clean vocals. Really digging the consistency with this music. This song flows quite well, between beats, riffs and vocal melodies, vocal clarity is pretty impressive as well. It's almost like two great song's in one. A distorted beast of wonder, and a beautiful masterpiece. The music slows down to deliver rich sharp strokes of distorted wonder. It's almost like a weird conversation but all that give's way to a kick ass aggression along with an EPIC fucking guitar solo! The music becomes maddeningly awesome. I absolutely love how they alternate things here perfectly.

Track 9. These Bloody Days- Haunting melodies begin to echo and bounce about your ear's in a thorough manner. An awesome explosion of metal, delivers an instantly catchy syncopation that grinds your brain into a spindle of worms that beg for mercy. The beat is quite tight and consistent. The deeper you tread into this music, the darker it becomes, between the low growls and the clean vocals. Very much the spooky feel here. The regular spoken word dubbed vocals are a nice touch, spooky as hell, as are the digital melodies in the backing tracking. However the wrap around affect to bring the song full circle is quite enduring giving the listener exactly what they came for, enjoyment and entertainment. A haunted yet spooky and aggressively intelligent piece of music.

Track 10. Solace- A beautiful piano plays here a melody that just invites your ears to dance. Your mind begins to float like a cloud with nowhere to go, but your imagination quickly takes over, especially with the other melodies introduced though subtly. An electric lead guitar spins about in the track delivering a mighty thrust of metal, as does the massive drum beat. The track is short, but the music still reaches within you the same with any other piece here does, delivering thorough satisfaction, leaving you wanting more.

Track 11. Sonically Transmitted Dysphoria- Clicks echo, and instant laughter from some speaking idiot which I really don't understand at all open this track, however the music is quickly interesting and aggressive, with a full forced mind blowing brand of interesting syncopation. That addictive quality is here, the digital aspect delivers a dramatic affect but also a punchy feel as well, the same way the dark crisp distortion does. It feel's like a massively insane journey through the minds of this band, a journey that I have thus far enjoyed. After a well settled groove, things quiet down becoming more meaningful. The drums move along quite well in a powerful manner. The addictive metal riffs leave you wanting more.

Track 12. Left Behind- The bass guitar rumbles very low creating a solitary presence especially with the clean vocals. A clean guitar has an alternating strum. The music stops, but only to begin and to deliver a tight beat with a melodically digital drive of tasty wonder. Really enjoying the changes in this music, they surely know how to keep things interesting and fresh. Though this part is lighter, it has a dark conveyance, and then you speak too soon, just as things pick up, clenching your throat tightly. The low growls and the crisp distortion, grasp a hold of your soul, never to let go. My lone complaint here? The bass guitar sounds a bit fuzzy, recording quality perhaps? Loving the music though.

Track 13. Deathwish- A clean guitar is quite captivating in the beginning here with it's worrisome melody. But the crude distortion screams of a sickening wonder and warning ahead. Its a thoroughly divine mix of what this band can do, that's something they quite well, fusing the metal with the industrial. The music has an active heart about it, something that is meaningful, with a passionate story to tell. The lines become so blurred here, that all you taste is complete awesome with this band. A smooth clean guitar brings on clean vocals and a digital expression that you can already sense is about to bring about a crazed amount of distortion, and it does. Plenty of heart, soul, and thorough creativity here, loving this bands sound. The sick aggressive syncopation here only drives home the fact of how much I dig them. Again, perfect vocal harmonies, as well as very powerful and eclectic drumming, these riffs are massively tasty. They ended this track perfectly with the piano part, loved it.

Track 14. The Quiet Light- A clean guitar plays, with an echo present, yet with a digital atmospheric effect here as well. A stammering yet powerful cadence of the drums strikes your mind open like a book of matches. The cymbal quickly fades into action, delivering thick hell flavored distortion! Very catchy riffs and syncopation here. Loving the mixture between the low roars and smooth clean vocals, it's absolutely perfect how this music flows, stops and redirects with even sicker riffs and drum beats, enough aggression to take and twist your mind into a thousand pieces never to return. You know the end is near, but you do not want it to end, dark, melodic, passionate and full of reason, not to mention intelligent wonder. Lyrical subject matter throughout this album has also been a very well seasoned aspect that I quite enjoyed. All through this review I have sat and listened to a new flavor of metal that I really never had the chance to grasp and enjoy before, but now I am familiar with this band, and this sound, I hunger for MORE. I enjoyed the review pretty much everything here, only complaint? The subtle buzzy sound quality at time with the guitars, and bass, but that happened very little. Rating 9/10
