Rockstar- A quick grinding action of heavy distortion starts the action. Clear yet well gifted vocals convey a powerful presence. The track has a fun, yet well enunciated feel to it. Really digging the vocal harmonies. Has sort of a vintage Metal feel to it. One thing I like is how they just don't settle into one area, but they eventually move about which changes the entire approach of the song as if it changes from one monster into a completely different one. Excellent rhyme scheme, though lyrical subject matter is a tad bit corny. Superb mixing and sound quality. Overall feel for the song, I'd say catchy cool and well received. Would I actually sit and listen through this entire song if it was on the radio? Yes. There is some Commercial Potential here, though it's hard to
completely grasp how much because this is just a single track review, though I did enjoy it. It's definitely an artist I'll keep an eye on in the future. Only complaints, some of the lyrical subject matter repeated too much, it could have gone completely somewhere else, but did not. I was not exactly a fan of the lyrical subject matter, though it's understand able with what they were trying to do within the vein of the music. And again this review/ album only contained one track. Even though there is one track here, it's packed with some great memorable licks and powerful drumming. The vocals themselves remind me of a band that I like a lot in the Metal genre. More than anything I liked the vocal qualities, as well as the instrumental parts all around. They definitely need to work on the lyrics though.
