Track 1. I Am- The album begins with an immediate massive swelling of overwhelming rich and powerful distortion. The drums immediately consume you with their tight motion and aggressive surroundings. Even though you can not tell whats being said her, the vocal expression and conveyance is truly amazing. The guitar riffs and melodies are truly masterful, eclectic and almost like a static shock of dark metal that rips into your soul like a fine grinding tool. The music constantly hammers away at you like a madness in the night. A very tight sound here, a delightful and melodic darkness. Intense, passionate, not to mention there's a sweet fucking guitar solo here that just RIPS. Great opening track.
Track 2. Into the Void- An instant and stammering riff, digs deep and grinds, out a pure message of ultimate deliverance, nagging at the deepest parts of you. I really like how the melodic guitar sits back against the grinding rhythm in the mix. Things change up, but the syncopation becomes a maddening yet awesome dark crunch, that could sling annd snap your neck if your not careful here. The music begins to jump into a very catchy groove for a moment and alternates between the groove and some aggressive yet tasty and technically refined parts. The music stops, and slows down for a sheer moment with a clean effects driven part only to EXPLODE back into your face with the same rich and tasty aggression. The vocals sound fucking cool with this, they have a unique sound about them, with the roars and the cleans, but they work very well here. Vocal clarity is good you can actually tell what's being said too. The music marches on with a massive, yet monstrous where the lead guitar rips things up without apology. The vocals do a sort of breathing cough thing, I like that. There's sort of some back and forth in the mix like a conversation between the vocalists. The music jumps around through some crazy twists and turns that are quite entertaining before finally ending with a sudden rush of that addicting distorted darkness of theirs!
Track 3. Reborn Through Hate- The beginning here is a complete rush of melodic greatness rolled into one, really loving how things start off and just come together sounding so masterful. A clean guitar along with a very crisp tight drum introduce the clean vocals, though they seem to have a slight muffled quality about them, though still damn good. The music then completely opens up, giving the track that great catchy groove. Beyond impressed with this bands sound. Digging the hell out of the passion and aggression here. That's a weird, but cool as hell melodic part right there, ah and the sweet fucking bass slips through, fucking LOVE that. DIGGING IT! The melody and aggression here is so perfect and well timed, it pours out and just smacks you in the face throwing you across the room, but the when the music stops, and cleans up, vocals ring out with their passionate crawl, as if they are trying to reach some sort of destiny. The vocals seem very powerful, even though there was a part where they seemed a bit muffled, the performance over the rest of the song more than made up for what may have been something that was called into question.

Track 4. Migdal Bavel- An echo of some outside marketplace in some alternate past reality reigns over the track. A thick dark distortion is summoned to the track. A heavy handed rhythm and a well defined melodic guitar slowly come together via this bands massively powerful back bone of drums. So far this song proves this album and this band are a force to be reckoned with, a true monster. Loving the change however, clean and echoing vocals along with the pronounced bass guitar in the track which is quite delicious and thick. The distortion trickles in like monstrous roars of thunder. Clean guitars pave the way for confusion, but only enough to make things very interesting, as the distortion beckons its self back to become more groove oriented as well as quite catchy. The track takes on an anthem like quality, with ton's of melody, and truly impressive vocals that stretch over the sky within your own mind. Really digging this slow groove, it's long dark and drawn out, though the subtle syncopation changes work just right. Loving the slow guitar slow, it slices a fine disturbing hole into the center of the listener. Great guitar squeals, are thrown in here and there, a definite overdose amount of rich distortion. The drums become more aggressive, but still retain that tight tasty groove, while the vocals put out a soul searching performance that screams of passion and scores of wonder. I absolutely love the lead and backing vocals with this band. The palm mutes drive us towards the end of the track here, but you and I know, that we do not want to hear this fantastic music end, it's something along the lines of....EPIC.
Track 5. Headlong Distaster- Clean vocals, sing along with a melodic clean guitar introducing some sort of story but I am not sure what, though I do think the song was opened quite nicely, and it transitioned well into it's onslaught of mind bending distorted power. Another thing I really like is the massive attention they've paid to detail with enunciation between vocals and guitar riffs. They know how to change from complete natural and delicious aggression to a beautiful clean melodic piece in a heart beat. Then they rush into a mode that is of pure madness, it's like a train gone off the tracks but still going, into some crazy direction. It alternates between the crazed distortion and the clean melodic parts, with complete wonderful fright. Each pluck of the guitar is like a sharp knife punching stab to your gut. They totally reached another level of awesome with this music. The track ends upon the same clean vocals things started with, though with a crackle for accent, and the clean melodic guitar bringing about a moment where everything just fades to complete silence, a very interesting piece of music!
Track 6.Ghost of Sparta- A VERY catchy guitar riff starts this song off right! The echoing vocals stretch the track about from end to end, with a thought provoking and thoroughly rocking riffs! Digging the hell of the pure twists of sickening metal here, things just intertwine so well with the melodic vocals and guitars. This music is like a complicated yet entertaining mix of thorough awesome madness. If your not head banging and thrusting your devils horns to the sky while listening to this, then there's something the fuck wrong with YOU! This band sounds like a complete freak of nature, they transition so perfectly from METAL to melodic clean parts, they are completely insane with passion, catchy melody and brute force of DISTORTION. Their sound is completely rich! The solo is a slow trickle of wild ways thrown into a sweet fire breathing thunder. Very well written and put together excellent sound quality.

Track 7. A 1000 Minds Away- A single lone bass line though subtle, clings about along with clean though passionate vocals. A clean guitar begins is sweeping riff, where a crashing cymbal sprays its lone appearance. The acoustic guitar hear is massively profound with its utter wonder and draw of pure desire. It stops you in your tracks to behold it in all its wonder. The music begins a small yet powerful groove. Things darken pretty damn quickly, though it's a slow grinding force of apparent fury. The music is a drawn out force of distorted crunch which hooks upon your ears not letting go. A fine force of melody via the guitars and vocals are rapidly thrown into this mix of wonder, as your soul is treated to a through stirring and complex yet rich piece of music. I really like how the track just ends on the dying distortion, not a bad song at all, nice change up for the album though.
Track 8. Hyperion- I like a good storm, it cleans all of the bullshit out of the world, though thankfully this album has had no said bullshit. This track starts with a the beautiful sound of a storm and delicious piano in the backing track which fades into oblivion. The music comes alive, turning towards something both aggressive and melodic. Sort of the same formula but the ideas are thrown around so fucking violently with sheer perfection. The hard nosed riffs just drive you deeper and deeper into an abyss of secluded METAL. The track continues on with it's galloping groove that contains a force of distorted fury. From the looks of it this track is a fucking OPUS of METAL. There's a sense of dread in the air, as they change directions yet again going a ride meant maybe for the grave. Creepy vocals strain your eardrums. Captivating vocals that you can not understand pull in your curiosity with certain doom. It's a fucked up and creative taste of eclectic music. The drums are a tight and massively powerful unit like a deity on the skins. The second half of the last track becomes more of the acoustic guitar with the slower lead guitar, and a heartfelt strum, as if marching things towards a brighter place. BUT You are fooled, and things escalate once again, these this band is a master of illusions, and they transition some perfectly everywhere through anything, there sound is to fucking utterly dynamic. There are so many damn catchy riffs through this last track you could have sliced it up to be a handful of songs. This entire album has been a MASTERPIECE.
Track 9. Coming Home- The original had a very delicate sound to it, almost heart warming. This one has more of an organic sound, very clear with a profound echo that stir's your soul at it's depths. A very beautifully moving piece of music. I really feel like they made this song their own, including their sickened flavor of METAL. The song opens up, becoming a mighty force of elemental destruction. Quite thrilling and purely exceptional, a complete driving force of mayhem and electricity.
Track 10. Only The Good Die Young- So far right from the beginning this music is different compared to the original. They took this song and did the same thing made it their own. It's a passionate and modern metal take on an absolute classic. It's almost like these two covers were two extra songs of their own, both bad ass tracks. This album has been a treat to review, the only part that confused me a bit was a point where vocals seemed a bit hazy in the mix, but as I listened to the music more, everything more than made up for that. An amazing band with a sound that just consumes you from start to finish with this album.
COMPLETELY FLAWLESS!
