Wow this looks like a roaring good time from the looks of the cover. They look like they are about to get into some trouble. It's an animated yet crazy feel. It makes you wonder just what the fuck lies ahead....

Track 1. Shitshow- The album starts off with a disc jockeys introduction to a song. Some sweet fucking metal riffs, impress with a nice heavy crunch. It contains a slight punk flair. There's a clean yet vulgar catchy feel here. Simple, yet fun and exciting. Party music. Something along the line of hard core redneck punk rock sort of flavor. Good tight drums., and then the metal flavor trickles in, though subtle. The bluesy solo cuts through the mix like a blade meant for your throat. The main rhythm hook is quite cool. Vocals are clear expressive and good especially when they harmonize. Very creative and explosive drums. And it ends on the same disc jockey I assume. Fun creative, heavy at times.

Track 2. Comin In Hard- A hard punk rock melody begins this parade of pure awesome filth. The melody is a fun yet crazy one established pretty quick. The bands formula is simple yet cool. A very punk rock raw crunchy feel, but it delivers. I like how the words mix well with the song riffs/ bass lines. The harmonies groove well overall as well. More of a hard rock flavor, but subtle here. Sweet solo, tinged in blues. Playful, fun and crazy. Clean but inventive vocals. They have an individualistic commercial sense about them. Something I could hear on the radio. A really funny ending, the drummer sounding drunk lol.

Track 3. Drunk and Naked- A country rock flavored bass line and possibly either a clean guitar or banjo begin this interesting piece. The vocals, don't take long to start the fun, you think the song may stay like this, but then a heavy riff crunches in. The song begins it's groove, possibly a story of a fun bbq gone wrong lol. Has some similar punk rock type riffs, but changed up somewhat. it's basically taking on the persona of the title. And the it swings into a bluesy feel. The bass line steps out front for a few measures, only to give way back to the hard rocking tasteful groove. I like the crazy fun story that it tells. Its' funny and stupid all rolled into one. Would have been nice if some sound affects from the party would have played as backing tracks, good material though. Fun, sharp, and technical. Pretty decent recording quality too. I like the spoken word funny stuff at the end to, these guys definitely don't mind poking fun at themselves.

Track 4. Rowdy- A hard rocking melodic riff begins this festering madness of alcohol. Another cool and fun theme. The words seem to flow well with the beat of the song and guitar licks. I wish it was heavier though. Definite drinking music. The riffs seem to settle in a place and sort of ascend in pitch. Until they fall into something actually deep dark and heavy, though just for a moment. And it runs back into it's old and crazy self. The hard rocking bluesy solo cuts through the mix with a passion. Sound's like good clean fun. Another taste of metal, if only very subtle. The song rocks on for a few second more, until it exits in the same fun fashion it arrived in. Good stuff.

Track 5. Fishin Song- Well at least I say these guys changes things up for the better to keep things interesting. A solemn clean acoustic opens the song, I love the message of this song. The ultimate hooky song. It gives way to what could be the heaviest song on this album. This song is the ultimate fuck you to all asshole bosses EVERYWHERE. A consistent cool ride of crazy fun. Great groove, even though it's not metal, it's hard crunch at times, with a red neck punk attitude, that seems fun and just honest. Very much a blue collar attitude as well. A hard rocking bluesy solo that cuts through, drums that slice pies for fun. There's a bit of another change of pace, that brings the song back into it's original rhythm hook. The story it tells is like I said, a straight up FUCK YOU...lol to bosses everywhere who are pricks.

Track 6. Sweet Prairie Vixen- An excellent tight drum beat begins this punk rock piece. The similar flavor is here, but changed up slightly. The same fun crazy attitude, and usage of vocal syllables to sound just catchy enough in the song. Very reminiscent of some punk rock classics I grew up with, with a subtle hard rock flavor. Some vulgarity but cool as hell. Vocals are clear and tell a fun endearing story of young people in love, the more you hear the more you rock and laugh out loud. Great vocal harmonies. It has bombastic explosive parts here and there. Still fun though.

Track 7. Giver To The Liver- A funny spoken word rant with one question. How drunk are you? The pace is quickened. Hardened. Serious fun, and crazy antics lie ahead. This song has more of an aggressive feel to it, but still with the crazy fun rocking flavor of this band. Sweet bass solo, and back and forth with the ROCKING guitar solo. Sweet riffs, Another cool drinking song that reminds me of my personal favorite. It get's heavier, some of their more heavier flavored material, it descends into it's crazy yet heavy groove again, with it's catchy yet stupidly funny vocals. More spoken word hilarity.

Track 8. Let Me Be- The vocals begin with a sense of hilarity. A flavor of slight southern rock possibly. Clean guitar and bass, along with a very simple drum beat. I guess this is their version of a ballad. Has interesting yet light groove to it. Has some twang here and there. Vulgar yet entertaining lyrics, wisely and creatively used. Has a rocking groove that entertains you at 1 am when your drinking, snacking and shooting the shit. Fun party music. I like the simple beat. Very warm vocals, both the lead and backing compliment each other very well. Instruments sound quite sharp, as in recorded very well. More spoken word hilarity, keeps you laughing out loud, dig their attitude.

Track 9- Raisn' Hell- A fun yet crunching punk rock flavored riff open's this one up. It quickly establishes it's normal formula, fun, and crazy good times. There's some crunch here as well as some take no shit attitude. The vocals really carry the song, both the lead and harmonies. Sweet fucking hard rock solo. Their sound changes here and there, but it's a consistent, yet fucked up, having a fun rocking time. The melody intertwines through out the song. There is a creative yet simple groove for great support of the vocals. Timing and riffs are also creative yet cool and simple. Fun crazy material.

Track 10. Ode To Drunk- Spoken words from two drunk possible funny yet idiotic band mates? And then a punk rock like jam begins.Fun crazy formula, well timed. Crunchy with a simple groove, describing a story of drunk escapades. Vocals are again pretty good, both the lead and backing. Sound balance, is fair, as is the mixing quality, of the album its self. The familiar hard rocking flavor with the guitar solo. Funky bass solo. A funny story, unfolds in this song, just like the others, explicit lyrics. This album has had a consistent vulgar yet playful, and crunchy flavor, that has an explicit nature. Sound's definitely like drinking music, or something you'd hear at a bar, but on the radio? I am not sure about that, it's possible, stranger things have happened. And the record ends upon more arguing hilarity between two drunks, crazy stupid and funny. Some of this I have enjoyed, and it had me rolling. I liked the vocals and mixing quality the most with this album, everything else not so much, the music is not exactly a flavor I am into, a little too light for my taste.

I'd say it's on the edge of mediocre, the higher end. Because of the vocal quality being good, instruments are tight, just wish there was more distortion here, with the 'classic crunch' guitar. facebook.com/pages/Puttin-On-The-FoiL

Overall Rating 6/10. Fun Crazy material.
